Just recently, I joined a giveaway sponsored by a local makeup brand here in the Philippines. What I am referring to is the Ever Bilena Cosmetics, Inc. The company caters almost all kinds of cosmetics. Foundations (powder, cream, liquid), blushers, eyeshadow palettes, pencils, lipsticks and the likes. They even have their own fragrance line. ( Nice noh? :)
Anyway, so yun nga. I joined their recent Facebook and Twitter promo, and I won twice!!! Here are my winning entries:
Actually, I won three times. Kaya lang, unfortunately 2 sets of matte lipsticks lang nareceive ko. ( Why, oh why?? ) T T I used the EB Matte Lipstick in Love That Red shade on the photos above.
Going back to the review. :) What I will be reviewing today are the prizes that I got from the said promo. Which is none other than (drum roll please! :) the oh-so-famousssss Ever Bilena Matte Lipsticks!!! Yey! ^___^
Ever since I learned that I won the giveaway, I made a promise to myself that I will be doing either a review or a lip swatch of these lovely lipsticks! I myself is an avid fan of these products kaya naman I know how hard it is to find lip swatches of ALL shades available from this line on the web. (I know the feeling guys, trust me! :) Haha.
So all in all, I got 12 shades from the matte lipstick line. Correct me if I'm wrong pero ang alam ko talaga 16 shades lahat-lahat yung matte lipsticks. 2 nudes, 4 pinks, 2 tangerines, 4 reds, and 4 browns. So I searched the web only to find out na tama akow! 4 shades (particularly the brown shades) were not included on my package. (Why, oh why again?? T T Phased out na kaya? Hm..

Faves: I personally love most of the pink shades! I am a very pink person kaya naman I super-duper love pink lipsticks!! Kaya lang you have to make sure na you use a lip liner underneath para mas precise yung application. I also love Storm, which is a dark brownish-red shade. It brightens up my face every time I wear it so yeah, I love it. :)
Hates: Mauvey. I don't really hate this shade. It's just that It's kinda hard for me to pull it off without a lip liner underneath. It is just too pale for me. Sad. :(
Verdict: 4/5
Why, oh why?? Although some shades are kinda hard to pull off, I can attest naman that most of them are very pigmented!! As in! Just a lip balm underneath and a liner for some and they're good to go!
So, will I re-purchase? Of course, girl!!! :)
